Location: Gilching and at customer sites (100% willingness to travel)

Tasks:
- Implementation and support of system integration projects in a military environment
- Installation and configuration of radio, communications, and
network components (routers, firewalls, servers, transmission systems, and sensors) on pre-installed hardware - Customizing and optimizing system configurations according to customer requirements
- Updating firmware and operating systems, as well as applying necessary patches
- Documenting the work performed, as well as maintaining and providing
technical manuals - Conducting functional and integration tests of the systems, as well as
fault analysis and troubleshooting - Training customers on the installed systems
- Assisting with the further development and optimization of the deployed systems
- Advising customers on technical requirements and potential
improvements
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or digital networking, or comparable technical training / Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or IT
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of virtualization technologies
- Proficiency with documentation tools and experience with ticket and
project management systems - Knowledge of software and hardware integration
- Demonstrable experience in operating complex IP network structures (IP addressing, routing, and switching)
- Experience with wireless communication systems
- Basic knowledge of electronics and IT system cabling
- High degree of attention to detail, precision, and quality awareness
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- Valid Class B and BE driver's license
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Due to our collaboration with clients in the critical infrastructure sector, a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (SÜG) may be required.
