Project – Test Engineer Finance Lucerne

Capacity utilization: 80%–100%
Start: February 16, 2026
End: December 31, 2026, with option to extend
Location: Lucerne, on site 4 days per week, remote 1 day per week
Customer segment: Finance
Candidate's place of residence: The candidate already lives in Switzerland or has an address in Switzerland where they can live for the duration of the project.
Applications from outside Switzerland: The candidate must have an EU passport, Schengen state, can also be a dual nationality (nationality outside the Schengen area with a work permit for Germany, Austria, etc. is not possible).

Tasks:

• You will be responsible for the testing of the use cases. For this you will need to be able to look into the technical implementation on the Data Platform stack (Azure, Snowflake, dbt, PowerBI)
• Ensure that everything is implemented correctly.
• Also you will be responsible to accompany the testing during the deployment phase (more administrative tasks).
• Finally you will be responsible to design and establish a framework for User Acceptance Testing.
• However, the day-today handling of the UAT (Business) will be in the responsibility of the Business Engagement Lead

Requirements:

• Higher education (ETH/university/university of applied sciences) in computer science/economics or comparable education
• Several years of experience as a test engineer in the finance sector
• Extensive, in-depth experience in testing, test engineering, with data platforms, data pipelines, data modeling
• Solid knowledge of SQL, modern data platforms (Snowflake), dbt, Azure, and Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data environments
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and translate insights into outcomes
• A proactive mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo to improve the data and landscape
• Fluent English (C1) and German (C1) skills
