Position: Software Configuration Manager

Location: Penzberg, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Implementation of infrastructure for robust software configuration management

• Selection of the required configuration management tools and integration into the existing development environment

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and maintain software configuration baselines throughout the entire lifecycle

• Ensuring traceability within software development

• Ensuring compatibility between software and hardware across the entire lifecycle

• Change management

• Development and implementation of processes for handover to manufacturing and maintenance operations

Requirements:

• Background in Computer Science or Software Development

• Experience in configuration management is an advantage

• Very good written and spoken English and German skills

• Interest in software configuration management within an aerospace environment

• Careful, pragmatic, and constructive working style

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and build systems (e.g., Jenkins)

• Interest in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
