Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and manage IT infrastructure projects of medium to high complexity. The role covers the complete project lifecycle, from solution development through implementation and commissioning, with responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, scope, risks, and stakeholder coordination.

The position requires strong project management expertise, the ability to translate customer requirements into suitable IT processes and solutions, and experience managing project teams and suppliers in complex IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and execute IT infrastructure projects of medium to high complexity from solution development through implementation and commissioning.
• Take responsibility for project schedule, budget, quality, scope, milestones, and overall delivery.
• Translate customer requirements into new or existing IT processes and technical solutions and support their professional implementation.
• Identify, assess, and coordinate dependencies, changes, and project risks within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Manage project team members and suppliers and address conflicting objectives and interests.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure effective collaboration between technical and business stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholders across customer organizations, specialist departments, project teams, and management levels.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and project documentation.
• Perform project controlling and monitor progress against agreed objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Support solution development and ensure the transition from project planning to implementation and commissioning.
• Report project status, risks, dependencies, and relevant developments to stakeholders and management.
• Apply established project management methodologies and tools throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure structured communication, documentation, and decision-making within the project.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics with an IT focus, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience leading medium- to large-complexity projects in the IT sector.
• Proven experience applying established project management methodologies.
• Recognized project management qualification such as:
• IPMA Level C
• PMI PMP
• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• or a comparable project management qualification.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly:
• Microsoft Project
• Outlook
• Visio
• Word
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• Practical experience with SharePoint and JIRA.
• Strong understanding of project planning, project controlling, risk management, stakeholder management, and dependency management.
• German: C1
• Good professional English skills.
