1. Project and Organizational Context
The Project Management Center of Excellence provides project management expertise, methodologies, and best practices to multiple organizational units. Its objective is to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects within large-scale IT infrastructure environments.
The Infrastructure Service Projects division is responsible for managing and delivering programs and projects related to decentralized and centralized IT infrastructure environments. These projects include the planning, implementation, and operational integration of complex IT solutions in collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.
2. Responsibilities and Tasks
The Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of medium to large-scale IT projects from the initial solution design phase through implementation and operational handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, coordinating, and managing complex projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and scope
- Translating customer requirements into new or existing IT processes and solutions and supporting their technical implementation
- Identifying and coordinating project dependencies, changes, and risks within the project scope
- Managing project teams, suppliers, and service providers while resolving potential conflicts of interest
- Conducting comprehensive stakeholder management with internal departments and external partners
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, including milestones, deliverables, schedules, and dependencies
- Preparing project documentation, status reports, and decision-making materials
- Supporting the preparation of project proposals and implementation concepts
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, governance frameworks, and project management standards
Where certification requirements are specified, only certificates that are valid at the time of submission will be accepted. Equivalent qualifications may be considered if they demonstrably meet the required standards.
Language proficiency levels are defined according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

- Detailed description of the candidates responsibilities and tasks within the project
3. Qualifications, Skills, and Certifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
Education
- Completed university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable field
Language Skills
- German language proficiency at C1 level (CEFR)
- Professional communication skills in a project environment
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- MS Project
- Outlook
- Visio
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Experience working with collaboration and project tools such as:
- SharePoint
- JIRA
Project Management Certifications
One of the following certifications is required:
- IPMA Level C
- PMI PMP
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
Equivalent certifications or demonstrable qualifications in project management may also be accepted.
4. Professional Experience Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate:
- At least 6 years of professional experience in managing medium to large-scale projects within the IT industry
- Proven experience in applying established project management methodologies
- Experience managing project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication
Professional experience must reflect continuous and substantial work within the relevant subject area prior to submission.

- The position allows for approximately 60% remote work (home office) on average.
