About the Role

NAXCON requires an FPGA and SoC Integration Engineer to implement the programmable logic, specialized accelerator configuration, and embedded firmware infrastructure for an advanced processing module. This role spans architecture analysis, detailed design, and field validation phases. You will work with cutting-edge heterogeneous computing platforms, optimizing for performance, power efficiency, and reliability in demanding applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of programmable logic and compute accelerator configurations 
  • Implement high-speed serial communication interfaces and control protocols 
  • Develop memory interfaces and storage management firmware components 
  • Configure specialized compute runtime and integrate algorithm implementations 
  • Conduct performance analysis and architecture optimization activities
  • Implement reliability and fault tolerance mechanisms where required
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical documentation
  • Support integration and field testing activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science 
  • Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience with FPGA or SoC development 
  • Advanced proficiency with industry-standard design tools and methodologies 
  • Demonstrated expertise implementing high-speed digital interfaces
  • Strong understanding of heterogeneous computing architectures and specialized accelerators 
  • Experience with embedded design tools, hardware description languages, and simulation 
  • Solid grasp of real-time systems and performance optimization techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with space-grade or radiation-hardened system designs 
  • Knowledge of specialized compute accelerator programming models 
  • Experience with algorithm acceleration and performance optimization workflows 
  • Familiarity with machine learning hardware acceleration concepts 
  • Background in multi-core systems and parallel computing architectures
