Assembly/Repair Technician (m/f/d)

Position: Assembly/Repair Technician

Tasks:

• Testing and logging of optical-mechanical components/assemblies
• Mechanical and electrical adjustment of assemblies
• Assembly of electrical test equipment
• Use of typical test and measurement equipment according to the trade (e.g. electronics technician)
• Preparation of production/testing and diagnostic reports
• Partial self-organisation of tasks (in terms of sequence, deadlines, priorities, etc.) in consultation with the group leader
• Assembly of mechanical and electrical assemblies and devices according to assembly instructions, drawings and parts lists
• Troubleshooting simple electronic assemblies/devices using circuit diagrams/signal diagrams, both for new and old devices, as well as repairing them and documenting this in SAP
• Commissioning and testing at device and system level, as well as carrying out interface tests in accordance with test specifications
• Logging your own work to document work results
• Processing and providing feedback on production orders in a timely manner

Requirements:

• State-certified technician or master craftsman
• Alternatively, completed training in the field of electrical engineering/electronics with comparable further training and many years of professional experience in the assembly/repair of electronic assemblies
• Experience in handling technical system documentation and electrical tools
• Good English ang German skills (spoken and written)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• Completed training in mechatronics/industrial mechanics/precision engineering and professional experience in the assembly, fine adjustment or repair of small components
• Certification as an adhesive specialist (European Adhesive Specialist) in conjunction with the qualification Adhesive bonding on military products (TL A-0023)
• High degree of care, precision and quality awareness
• Goal-oriented, independent and responsible way of working, as well as openness and ability to work in a team
• Confident use of tools and testing equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical)
