Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Position: Technical Writer

Location: Bremen, Germany

Tasks:

• Analyzing the requirements for the assigned scope of work
• Planning the documentation process from draft to final delivery, including reviews with specialist departments, taking into account civil and military logistical requirements as well as ÖAG specifications
• Creating external technical customer documentation for all RME business units, such as:

• • Operating and maintenance manuals

  • Online help systems

  • Complete system or training documentation

• Preparing maintenance and service schedules as well as installation instructions

• Updating and maintaining existing technical documentation

• Creating spare parts lists and catalogs

• Preparing technical content in a clear, structured, logical, and target-group-oriented manner
• Reviewing German and English technical documents from internal/external customers and suppliers

• Coordinating results with internal and external customers and suppliers

• Preparing training documentation for customers

• Creating and editing photos/graphics using graphic tools and CAD viewing applications for visualization
• Publishing customer documentation in digital formats, print media, and tablet formats
• Working with databases and content management systems, including their administration

Requirements:

• Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a
• Technical Writer and initial professional experience
• Initial experience as a technical writer in the field of defense-related products
• Good knowledge of technical documentation and Integrated Logistics
• Support (ILS) as well as ÖAG requirements
• Good knowledge of standards and regulations for defense and non-defense products

• (TDV, H011, M011, Machinery Directive, DIN EN 82079)

• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP

• Very good written and spoken English skills

• Knowledge of electronic documentation creation

• Specialized knowledge in image editing and CAD

• Experience in working with databases

• Ability to work in a team
