Development Engineer for Floor Systems and Welded Structures (m/f/d)

Position: Development Engineer for Floor Systems and Welded Structures

Location: Penzberg, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Design of components for unmanned reconnaissance systems (aircraft and primarily ground system components)
• Revision of construction documents for welded structures of ground systems (e.g., ground control station, workshop equipment, launch platform, )
• Preparation/revision of construction documents for prototype and series production, test documents, and specifications
• Production support (coordination with suppliers of structural components, qualification of components)
• Coordination of KM/QM/SB
• Creation and updating of the system definition list and K-status list
• Creation of, or participation in the creation of, an internal company design guideline for welded structures
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (FH/TU), preferably in mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of welded structures (including equipment design,
  structural analysis, and design management)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
• Basic knowledge of systems engineering and requirements engineering is desirable
• Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office)
• Technical English and good German language skills
• Flexibility, ability to work in a team, high level of commitment, and attention to quality
