Position: Hardware Developer With a Focus on Power Electronics

Location: Karlsbad, Germany

Type: Full-time/on-site

Tasks:

• Development and design of ultrasonic generators and components
  components, taking into account the relevant norms and standards
• Developing concepts for the development of innovative product solutions product solutions in close cooperation with Embedded
• Development, other specialist departments and the customer
• Designing, simulating, commissioning and testing electronic circuits and supporting them until they are ready for series production
• Realization of laboratory setups for testing and design validation as well as the planning and execution of system tests
• Commissioning, carrying out measurements and documentation (e.g. specifications, functional specifications, descriptive documentation, production documents)
• Supervision of external measurements (e.g. EMC) and approval procedures
• Overview and responsibility for the overall system, not just
  for subcomponents
• You actively contribute your ideas and improvements to the
  continuous improvement process
  

Requirements:

• You have a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
•  You have in-depth knowledge and relevant professional experience in dimensioning, calculation simulation and layout with modern power electronics components power electronics, their control and cooling
• You have experience in the selection of components such as transformers, fuses, switches, power semiconductors etc. in the field of ultrasonic generators, switching power supplies, electrical drives, high-voltage technology, power supply systems or inverters
• You have many years of experience in relevant ECAD tools
  such as Altium Designer
• You are willing to familiarize yourself with complex and new topics to familiarize yourself
• Analytical thinking as well as solution and result orientation are among your strengths
• You have a good command of German and English
