Tasks:

• Creation of concepts for systems and subsystems in large or complex projects
• Carrying out requirements analyses and management in large or complex projects
• Creation of specifications in large or complex projects
• Implementation of system integration and error detection
• Carrying out system tests in large or complex projects
• Support in the creation of quantity structures and schedules
• Presenting technical proposals to customers on site in large or complex projects
• Support in negotiating technical content with customers, partners and suppliers
• Support in the definition, planning and control of work packages (ACTUAL/SOLL) of the Technical Manager
• Coordination or creation of essential system documents in large or complex projects
• Carrying out technical reviews and audits in large or complex projects
• Creation of technical decision templates (e.g. make or buy) in large or complex projects
• Creation of test concepts and documents in large or complex projects
• Collaboration in the strategic product orientation
• Market observation of current technical trends
• Reporting and presentation of development results in project status meetings
• New conception and further development of sustainable system architectures and components for distributed, highly available signal acquisition and data evaluation systems

Requirements:

• Our team interprets the role of the system developer / software architect in such a way that the system developer / software architect designs the entire development process and is actively involved in the development process.
• Completed studies in the field of computer science, communications engineering or comparable
• Experience in developing system/software architectures (structures, data flows and models, control flows, etc.)
• Confident handling of Linux
• Experience with TCP/IP-based inter-process communication and the development of parallel (multi-threaded)
• Applications are an advantage:
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, VoIP, HTTP
• Knowledge of databases (relational / NoSQL)
• Experience in querying distributed NO-SQL databases, such as Elastic-Search or Cassandra
• Experience in analyzing and processing IP data with the help of e.g. Wireshark or DPI engines
• Knowledge of JAVA, openAPI, Rest, GIT
