Job Description
- Position: Senior SW Verification Engineer
- Function: Healthcare HMI
- Location: Munich
- Creation date: November 2024
- Work Mode: Onsite, Office presence for minimum 4 days
- Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken), German language is a plus
- Duration: One year and high possibility to extend for one more year
- Interview: Two rounds of interview
Position Summary:
The focus will be to support the design and development team by maintaining a V&V program for new product development. He/She will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and executing Test Scenarios for verification and validation test protocols in accordance with company quality procedures. This position involves working cross-functionally as part of the verification team in a fast-paced exciting development project.
General Responsibilities:
- Develop verification strategies with focus on software-driven electromechanical components at sub-system and system level
- Writing and reviewing verification test protocols, by selecting and using effective tools, methods and applicable test standards.
- Execute Test Cases on the complete DUT and/or on a standalone module.
- Automate test cases and maintain automation scripts for future SW versions.
- Write and release final report
- Continuous improvement on test fixture including design of software and/or . hardware
- Willingness to work in multiple domain (non-automotive also).
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in electrical, Mechanical or related disciplines or comparable background
- At least 8 years of experience in similar roles
- Good experience with Test automation using Vector tools: CAPL, VT Systems, Simulation
- Working knowledge of test management tools such as Polarion, Master Control, etc.
- Create, review and optimize reusable test cases by developing test environments and scenarios
- Experience with CAN-Bus communication
- Test setup design and maintenance.
- Understanding of safety critical environments
- Methodical documentation skills, Good troubleshooting skills
