Tasks:

• Responsibility for the creation of concepts for systems and subsystems in complex or large projects
• Responsible for carrying out technical management as part of proposal processing and system development for complex or large projects
• Responsibility for carrying out requirements analyses and management in complex or large projects
• Responsibility for the creation of specifications in complex or large projects
• Responsibility for carrying out system integration and error detection in complex or large projects
• Responsibility for carrying out system tests in complex or large projects
• Responsible for creating quantity structures and schedules in complex or large projects
• Responsible for conducting technical proposal presentations to customers on site in complex or large projects
• Responsible for negotiating technical content with customers, partners and suppliers in complex or large projects
• Technical leadership of the technical development team in complex or large projects
• Responsible for the definition, planning and control of work packages (IST/SOLL) in complex or large projects
• Responsible for coordinating and creating key system documents in complex or large projects
• Responsible for conducting technical reviews and audits in complex or large projects
• Responsible for technical risk management/claim management in complex or large projects 
• Responsible for representing the project internally and externally in complex or large projects
• Responsible for controlling the degree of progress and outflow of funds in complex or large projectsResponsibility for the creation of technical decision templates (e.g. make or buy) in complex or large projects
• Responsibility for the creation of test concepts and documents in complex or large projects
• Responsible for planning and carrying out internal and external acceptance tests in complex or large projects
• Responsible for planning and coordinating system qualification with external bodies (e.g. environment, EMC, functional safety) in complex or large projects
  
• Responsible management of suppliers and subcontractors in complex or large projects
• Collaboration in the strategic product orientation
• Market observation of current technical trends
• Responsible reporting and presentation of development results in project status meetings
• Taking over the technical representation of RME in an ARG

Requirements:

• Completed technical studies
• Many years of professional experience in a systems engineering department
• Many years of experience in the technical management of (major) projects
• Many years of experience with military systems and the military end customer
• Experience in systems engineering desirable
• High intercultural competence
• Business fluent in English (written and spoken), especially technical English
• Willingness to travel worldwide
