Project - SAP VC Consultant

Utilization: 60% - 100%
Start: 3.2.2025
End: 31.12.2025, option to extend
Location: Remote, possibly once in Switzerland, get to know the team
Customer segment: Industry

Tasks:

• Analysis and consulting: Evaluation and optimization of the structure of the configuration views (sales view, engineering view, manufacturing view).
• Challenging the customer: Supporting and guiding the customer in the modular structure of configurations.
• Mathematical analysis: Carrying out a detailed analysis of the status quo in order to recommend a realignment. This requires strong analytical and process consulting skills to prepare the results for internal change management.
• Process optimization: Analysis of internal processes for creating new variant configurations (VCs) and maintaining existing VCs. The goal is to optimize these processes and make them more scalable while keeping the overall problem in mind.
• Long-term recommendations: Develop and present strategic solutions for selling configurations that ensure the client's long-term success.

Requirements:

• Higher education (ETH / Uni / FH) in computer science / economics or comparable education
• Experience: Proven experience in consulting and implementation of SAP Variant Configuration (VC).
• Analytical skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills to interpret complex data and develop practical solutions.
• Process understanding: Deep understanding of internal processes and challenges related to Variant Configuration.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively advise the customer and present internally.
• Confident demeanor, flexibility, commitment, diligence and quality awareness
• Very good knowledge of German & English
