Projekt Manager Automotive (m/w/d)

Tasks:

• Technical responsibility of the project team in a matrix organization with project responsibility and as main contact person for the project stakeholders
• Leading the global project team across multiple locations by setting goals and planning resources
• Definition of project milestones
• Coordination, control and monitoring of project activities
• Ensuring project objectives are met in terms of costs, requirements and deadlines
• Project-based definition of responsibilities, roles and tasks within projects
• Initiation of relevant corrective actions in case of risk or deviation from an approved 'project baseline
• Project execution taking into account existing business processes such as for development, project, change, quality, cost and data management as well as relevant automotive standards such as IATF 16949, ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 2007
• Development of appropriate strategies for planning, execution, monitoring and controlling within the project
• Maintaining department specific KPIs
• Responsible for project status reports and documentation
• Drive the change and risk management process
• Initiate and drive decision and escalation processes
• Support the RFQs process by providing estimated project milestones and capturing projected (1) development effort, (2) BOM, (3) KAPEX, and (4) OPEX
• Define and update projects by management strategy (=manual / scope document) and work structure breakdowns
• Support in the continuous improvement process

Requirements:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering with relevant professional experience in the automotive supply industry
• Experience in project management including interdisciplinary leadership of project teams
• Knowledge in hardware and software development desirable
• Competent appearance in dealing with customers and internal contacts / above-average communication skills communication skills and assertiveness
• Flexibility, team orientation and proactive approach
• Very good and fluent written and spoken German and English skills
• Willingness to travel
