Tasks:

• Management and continuous optimization of the assigned product groups, as well as development and implementation of purchasing strategies
• Carrying out requirements analyses (e.g. forecasts) with the buyers
• Preparation and management of global (contract) negotiations and supplier selection in coordination with the interface partners (e.g. also legal)
• Support in the enforcement of claims and initiation of compensation measures
• In-house adaptation of modern negotiation concepts (ANCs) and application in own product groups
• Search, development and management of strategically relevant suppliers and implementation of process improvements in collaboration with suppliers
• Application of cost optimization methods (e.g. cost structure, MLPP or LPP analyses)
• Preparation of global market forecasts, trend and procurement market analyses for the assigned product group
• Carrying out tenders and bid comparisons under Total Cost of Ownership aspects
• Procurement of project-specific requirements, taking into account costs and quality requirements
• Systematic implementation of supplier assessments in close coordination and in accordance with the specifications of the supply chain manager
• Systematic implementation of supplier assessments and supplier development in close coordination according to the specifications of Supply Quality Management
• Preparation and implementation of price negotiations

Requirements:

• Completed university degree with initial professional experience in the field
•  Good IT skills (SAP, MS Office)
• Negotiating skills on the basis of experienced negotiation situations
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of contract law (BGB, HGB)
• Completed Master's degree
• Knowledge of ISO 9001
• Quality know-how in the series production of suppliers based on VDA
• Strong technical understanding
• Strong intercultural competence
• Willingness to travel worldwide
