Goals of the job:
The company has successfully launched and entered electronic and camera-based systems and solutions to the market. The business segment is to be further expanded with its functionality to be significantly extended. At the same time, the electrics/electronics side in the core business mirrors as well as in the group as a whole is playing an increasingly important role. This will also require direct and active involvement, management and cooperation of the global R&D and application engineering teams. We want to substantially expand this segment regarding the development capacity and also with view to our own value chain.
Tasks of the job:
- Management of the development team system and hardware
- Management of requirements, configurations, changes and issues in projects
- Guidance of external development partners for the electronics development
- Implementation of the yearly project planning, personnel planning, material cost and investment planning
- Project-based determination of responsibilities, roles and tasks
- Support of internal/external customers
- Functional management of the hardware electronic teams and system teams globally.
- Assigning projects and specific tasks to the global departments and following up on progress and successful implementations.
- Manage system and hardware projects and assign teams and resources on global level.
- Development and realization of system and hardware strategy

Education:
University degree in a technically relevant subject (for example electrical engineering, computer science, physics)
Skills:
- Very good command of English, written and spoken

- Embedded electronics and development
- System architectural design
- Expertise with product lifecycle

Experience:
- Management experience in HW projects and systems for camera-based products
