Position: Solution Architect Digital Touchpoints & Development Lead for B2B E-commerce Portal

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect & Development Lead to drive the architecture of our digital touchpoint landscape and to lead the development of our B2B e-commerce portal on SAP Commerce Cloud. This role involves technical strategy, architectural leadership, hands-on development, cross-functional and internation collaboration and guiding the SAP Commerce development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the overall architecture for the key digital touchpoints of our company, including B2B portals on SAP Commerce Cloud and websites, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the companys digital strategy.
• Establish best practices and governance around solution architecture, development, and system integrations to drive optimal performance and sustainability.
• Coordinate the technical development of our customer portal for commercial capabilities based on SAP Commerce Cloud throughout its entire life cycle.
• Manage, guide and onboard internal and external developers as well as organize solution releases.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to break down complex requirements into technical tasks and manage backlog prioritization.
• Manage system integrations, including with CRM and ERP, to ensure seamless data flow and platform interoperability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage version control, and enforce coding standards and best practices to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• Address technical debt and proactively propose system improvements to enhance platform stability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Participate in Tier 3 solution support activities, including incident management and the evaluation and deployment of application upgrades and patches.
• Document solution specifications and assist in the creation of operational support manuals during technical implementation.
• Work closely with IT infrastructure and security teams to implement security protocols, robust monitoring and alerting systems.

Qualifications

Education: completed IT studies or a comparable qualification.

Personality and working style: high level of initiative and ability to work independently. Proactive communication style, enjoy working in virtual teams, committed and convincing demeanor and strong presentation skills. Structured, conceptual and analytical thinking.

Experience and know-how: solid experience in the development of SAP Customer Experience solutions esp. SAP Commerce Cloud. In addition, solid experience in interface development and state-of-the-art web service technologies (REST, RESToDATA, SOAP, jSON). In addition, you have experience in cross-application data modeling as well as process integration technologies (SAP PI, SAP CPI, AXway) and authentication methods.

• Knowledge of integrated experience platforms, frameworks and technologies (SpringBoot, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript) round off your profile.

Qualifications: several years of relevant professional experience in software development and architecture in larger companies.

Languages: Business fluent in English
