Production Engineer for Aerospace Assemblies

Position: Production Engineer for Aerospace Assemblies 

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Field: Space

Type: Full-time/on-site

Tasks:

• Development of production processes for electronic and optoelectronic assemblies in co-engineering with product development
• Active support and advice for development and construction in the design-to-cost process
• Manufacturing cost estimation during development
  Identification of risks in designs and manufacturing processes during development and
• Deriving measures to minimize risks
• Carrying out verification projects by planning, initiating, accompanying the implementation and evaluating the results evaluating the results
  

Requirements:

• Experience in the development / planning of production processes for electronic assemblies, mechanisms, optical assemblies, focus on manual assembly + semi-automated production
• Basic knowledge in related areas such as manufacturing technologies, logistics, packaging, etc,
• Knowledge of methods in DfA, DfMA, P-FMEA, preventive quality assurance
