Tasks:

• Creation of software sub-architectures and derivation of software requirements
• Maintenance of software sub-architectures
• Evaluation, refinement and functional and non-functional requirements in relation to the part for which you are responsible
• Monitoring and ensuring the implementation of the architecture for the part for which you are responsible
• Contact person and interface to project and product management
• Analyzing customer requirements and interfaces for the segment (specifications)
• Connection of external systems
• Realization of software components
• Creation of process documentation (e.g. software architecture design)
• Embedding software components available on the market
• Carrying out topic-specific analyses (e.g. weak point and performance analyses)
• Initiation and technical evaluation of make or buy decisions regarding software components
• Technical management/guidance of software employees
• Troubleshooting in the overall system
• Programming skills in an object-oriented programming language, e.g. C++

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in the creation of software architectures
• Several years of experience in working on large software projects
• Very good programming skills in an object-oriented programming language
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Experience in embedded development
• Knowledge of Rhapsody is an advantage
• Very good programming skills in C++
• Confident appearance and communication behavior at all levels of the company
• Ability to convince
• Willingness to travel worldwide
