Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic IT Product Owner & Team Lead to oversee the development and management of our Installer Services Portal, an e-commerce and remote device management portal based on SAP Commerce Cloud. This role will be pivotal in aligning business requirements with technical delivery, ensuring an optimal user experience, and leading a team of developers and cross-functional team members to achieve agile project milestones. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strong background in SAP Commerce Cloud, product management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders on international level, understand customer needs, gather requirements, and translate them into detailed product specifications and user stories.
Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing value delivery in line with agile best practices.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, quality assurance testers, and designers to ensure successful product delivery.
Oversee and manage the platform based on SAP Commerce Cloud, ensuring the system is optimized for both e-commerce transactions and remote device management.
Drive project delivery from inception through execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop, manage, and refine KPIs for product performance, user experience, and functionality, regularly reporting to stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.
Work closely with the IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with data security regulations and implementation of best practices in data privacy and protection.
Coordinate with external vendors and partners, negotiating timelines, resources, and deliverables to align with the companys goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: completed IT studies or a comparable qualification.
5+ years of experience in product ownership, ideally within an e-commerce or remote device management context.
Personality and working style: high level of initiative and ability to work independently. Structured, conceptual and analytical thinking.
Strong leadership abilities, with prior experience managing cross-functional teams and successfully delivering projects in an agile environment.
Hands-on experience with the agile tool chain (JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Enjoy working in virtual teams.
Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance, and data privacy standards.
Languages: Business fluent in English
