Senior Software Engineer

Position: Senior Software Engineer 

Location: 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software for machine operating systems, ensuring high scalability and flexibility for future customizations.
• Collaborate closely with the shopfloor team, understanding and translating operational needs into modular software solutions.
• Implement and oversee SCADA/MES systems for recipe management and inline operations.
• Contribute to the development of safety and cost reduction strategies through innovative software solutions.
• Serve as a shopfloor authority, providing technical support and guidance without direct leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in software engineering, preferably with experience in the machine-building industry or related fields.
• Strong understanding of 3D domain operations and experience in machine operation.
• Proficient in functional, modular programming and experience with SCADA/MES systems.
• Experience with CNC machines and Siemens PLC programming is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with shopfloor teams and understand generic requirements from an operators perspective.
• Team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working in a Dutch-speaking environment.
• Commitment to operational safety and cost reduction.
