Position: Senior Expert (m/w/d) PCU Technology 

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Field: Automotive

Type: Full-time/on-site

Tasks:

• Global piston system expertise for designers and application engineers worldwide
• Performing technical risk analyses and approving deviations from product standards
• Lead technical problem solving, decision making and implementation in complex customer projects worldwide
• Review and implementation of processes for continuous improvement of product specifications
• Conducting collaborations with universities worldwide
  
  

Requirements:

• Successfully completed doctorate or university degree (Master) in the fields of mechanical engineering, physics, materials science or similar
• Sound and up-to-date piston system technology expertise from at least 15 years working for an international Tier 1 supplier
• Knowledge of current production processes
• Strong problem-solving skills (e.g. 8D, Six Sigma)
• Strong implementation/solution orientation and ability to lead distributed teams in a goal-oriented manner
• Business fluent in German and English
