Role Overview

We are seeking a Service Technician  to support operations within a logistics and IT infrastructure environment. The role focuses on warehouse operations, material handling, and supporting IT-related activities in a dynamic operational setting. The position involves working within a central operations and supply chain environment, ensuring efficient handling of materials and supporting ongoing infrastructure-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and clarify incoming orders and delivery requests, ensuring feasibility in terms of timing and cost while considering current inventory levels
• Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, delivery, shipment, and disposal of consumables, spare parts, hardware, and repair components
• Perform goods receipt activities, including inspection, temporary storage, and internal transportation of materials
• Verify shipping documents, delivery notes, and ensure proper documentation of all material movements
• Support hardware regeneration processes and maintain inventory accuracy
• Contribute to projects and sub-projects related to the migration of IT and telecommunications infrastructure
• Assist with software installations and device provisioning (e.g., system setup or imaging)
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and documentation requirements

Required Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse management, or a comparable field
• Valid driver's license (Class B required; forklift certification is advantageous)
• Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (focus on Excel)
• Good written and spoken German (C1 level); English skills are a plus

Professional Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a logistics environment, including demand planning, procurement activities, and order processing
• At least 1 year of experience handling IT hardware, including storage, transportation, or maintenance
• Experience working with SAP MM or comparable ERP systems, as well as ticketing systems

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks

Additional Information

• Hybrid working model with approximately 20% remote work (home office)
• Certificates or equivalent qualifications may be required to validate skills and experience
