Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to independently lead complex customer projects or highly complex sub-projects within a large IT infrastructure and service environment.
The role combines end-to-end project leadership, project controlling, stakeholder management, supplier coordination, risk and dependency management, and PMO-related activities.
Projects may be managed using traditional, agile, or hybrid project management methodologies and typically involve complex technical and organizational environments.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead complex IT projects or highly complex sub-projects.
- Take responsibility for the coordination, planning, and execution of projects from solution development through implementation and commissioning.
- Translate customer requirements into new or existing IT processes and technical solutions.
- Provide professional and technical guidance throughout the implementation of agreed IT solutions.
- Identify, analyze, and coordinate project dependencies.
- Identify and manage project changes and risks within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and overall progress.
- Perform project planning and controlling.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams.
- Manage external suppliers and service providers.
- Resolve competing objectives and stakeholder interests.

Qualifications
Candidates should have successfully completed one of the following:
- Degree in Computer Science
- Business Informatics
- Information Technology
- Engineering
- Business Administration / Economics
- Comparable relevant academic qualification
Alternatively:
- Recognised vocational qualification in an IT or commercial profession.
Project Management Qualification
Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of general project-management methodology and agile ways of working.
A recognised professional project-management certification is required, such as:
- IPMA Level C or higher
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- PMI PMP
- Comparable recognised professional qualification
In addition, training or certification in agile project management methodologies is required.
Any time-limited certification used as evidence must still be valid at the time of submission.
Required Professional Experience
Senior IT Project Management
At least 6 years of continuous and substantive professional experience leading high-complexity IT projects.
The experience should include practical application of established project-management methodologies and demonstrable responsibility for complex project delivery.
Agile Project Experience
Within the required professional experience, at least 2 years of practical experience in agile projects is required.
