Position: Verification Manager

Tasks:

• Creating and implementing verification concepts for systems and subsystems
• Technical analysis of stand-alone components for system usability
• Assistance in creating subcontractor requirements
• Supporting subcontractors with integration work in their own systems
• Coordinating test planning and reviewing test instructions at the segment/unit level and in the higher-level system network (external to RME)
• Verification of subcontractor services and their components, as well as coordination of corresponding test case creation
• Planning, coordination, and implementation of system qualification with external agencies (including environment, EMC, functional safety)
• Creation of project-related verification risk tables in test-related risk management
• Conducting subcontractor training courses, workshops, and customer training courses
• Collaborating on technical decision templates (including make or buy)
• Supporting series test preparation/test automation at the system level
• Coordinating interfaces with the national and international companies involved in the system network
• Conducting field tests, trials, and customer acceptance tests at home and abroad
• Reporting and presentation of development results in project status meetings
• Monitoring of test progress and initiation of appropriate measures to achieve compliance with product quality and product performance characteristics
• Resource planning and coordination of subcontractors/external agencies within the framework of cascaded construction stage verification

Requirements:

• Completed technical bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the development/verification of electrical systems
• Experience in working with modern RF measurement technology (e.g., spectrum analyzer, EMC chamber)
• In-depth knowledge of analog and digital radio technology
• Several years of experience in radio and communications engineering
• Good knowledge of the design, implementation, and commissioning of test equipment
• Basic knowledge of software development
• Basic network topology and communication/bus technologies
• Confident use of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Very good written and spoken English and German
• Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Structured and independent approach to work
• High level of initiative and resilience
• Strong technical understanding of systems
• Willingness to travel worldwide
