Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Independent and autonomous design of mechanical components and assemblies within quality, schedule, and cost constraints using CAD tools
• Adaptation, modification, and further development of existing 3D designs and assemblies
• Design and selection of suitable standard and purchased parts as well as reuse of existing components
• Binding coordination of interfaces with other assemblies and manufacturing suppliers
• Participation in the planning, control, and supervision of production and subsequent integration activities
• Implementation of product data management, including design data, document, and drawing management
• Creation of 3D concepts for the visualization of design solutions
• Support in the optimization of processes in the product data and design environment

Requirements:

• Completed bachelor's degree or state-certified technician (m/f/d) in mechanical engineering or special machine construction
• Initial design experience in mechanical engineering or plant construction
• Initial experience with 3D CAD systems (ideally Siemens NX) and MS Office
• Good knowledge of SAP PLM / SAP ECTR
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Creativity, diligence, resilience, and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to collaborate with other specialist departments
• Structured, goal-oriented, and independent working style
• High level of commitment and initiative
• Willingness to travel
