Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing complex IT projects and supporting the coordination, planning, and execution of initiatives, particularly in the context of decentralized and centralized IT infrastructure. This role includes the oversight of operational tasks, including the implementation, management, and optimization of IT solutions, specifically focusing on the development and deployment of software platforms in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Support: Provide support for the coordination, planning, and execution of complex projects, from solution development to implementation.
• Stakeholder & Team Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders, including customer liaison and managing the interests and goals of various project participants.
• Dependency & Risk Management: Assist in identifying and coordinating dependencies, changes, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Planning & Controlling: Assist in the detailed planning, scheduling, and monitoring of project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.
• Documentation & Reporting: Ensure comprehensive documentation for meetings, action tracking, and project reporting. This includes maintaining and reconciling project lists and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance activities within the project, ensuring that the project meets defined standards.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable IT-related field, or a vocational qualification with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the IT environment.
• Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in project management in IT-related projects, including knowledge of common project management methods.
• Technical Skills: Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and Jira.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in German at C1 level (CEFR).

• Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills, the ability to explain complex topics clearly, and the ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Problem-Solving & Responsibility: High level of initiative and responsibility, with the ability to independently manage project issues and conflicts.
• Structured Work Approach: Ability to work in a structured, solution-oriented, and goal-driven manner, even under pressure.
