Position: KONSENS Release Coordination II

Location: Düsseldorf or Paderborn, Germany

Type: Full-time/%80-100 Remote

Minimum Requirements:

  • The personnel to be deployed must meet the following minimum requirements (verified via project references including project description, activity description, IT tools/technologies used, person-days, and timeline with start/end months and years): 
  • Release Coordination Experience (10+ years): Practical project experience in the coordination of releases, acceptance, and management of the entire release process in complex distributed environments.
  • Software Development or Quality Assurance (10+ years): Practical project experience in software development or quality assurance of software. 
  • Test Conception & Coordination (5+ years): Practical project experience in test conception, test case creation, and coordination of test measures between distributed development teams. 
  • Infrastructure Management (3+ years): Practical project experience in infrastructure management including load balancing and resource provisioning for release environments. 
  • Configuration & Change Management (3+ years): Practical project experience in configuration management and change management incomplex distributed environments. 
  • DevOps & Team Collaboration (5+ years): Practical project experience in collaboration with DevOps, QA, and development teams in complex release scenarios. 
  • Version Control Management (5+ years): Practical project experience with version control management, including branching models and release branches. 
  • Version Control Tools (5+ years): Practical project experience with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket. 
  • Build Automation (5+ years): Practical project experience with Jenkins or comparable continuous integration/build automation tools. 
  • Release Deployment Process (5+ years): Practical project experience in managing end-to-end release deployment processes including quality assurance gates and approval workflows. 
  • KONSENS System Knowledge (3+ years): Practical project experience with the KONSENS system or comparable large-scale administrative/tax software systems in Germany, including GeCo releases. 
  • Test Automation (3+ years): Practical project experience with test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Mockito) and automated test execution. 
  • Documentation & Coordination Skills: Demonstrated ability to create and coordinate release documentation (acceptance & release documentation) and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholder groups. 
  • ITIL Knowledge: ITIL-based knowledge or certification (ITILv3/v4 Foundation or higher) demonstrating understanding of IT service management processes. 
  • German Language: Very good German language skills in speaking and writing (Level C1 per CEFR).

Reference Projects:

  • Reference Period: The project must have been completed or have ongoing phases within the last 3 years (reference period: 03.03.2023 – 03.03.2026).
