Position: KONSENS Java/Camunda

Location: Düsseldorf or Paderborn, Germany

Type: Full-time/%80-100 Remote

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must meet the following mandatory criteria. Failure to provide proof will lead to exclusion from the evaluation process

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or comparable scientific qualification. 
• Java Experience: At least 10 years of practical experience in Java development in professional environments. 
• Camunda Experience: At least 2 years of specific experience with Camunda 7 integration and API management. 
• Language: German Level C1 (CEFR).

Migration Roadmap (Strategic Transition)

The contractor must lead the migration through the following phases:

• Phase 1 (2026): Assessment of existing Camunda 7 process landscapes and identification of migration-ready workflows. Setup of Camunda 8 compatibility layers.
• Phase 2 (2027-2028): Execution of migration from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8, including refactoring of Tasklist API integrations and specialized Java Delegates into Job Workers.
• Phase 3 (2029-2030): Optimization of the migrated Zeebe infrastructure and decommissioning of Camunda 7 legacy components within the KONSENS ecosystem
