WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Designing and implementing IT solutions (including acceptance testing) within the assigned focus area, often taking into account the specific requirements of client projects
• The initial focus will be on Atlassian: Jira and Confluence
• Note: The applications are provided by the central IT department
• Concepts must be drawn up to ensure standardised use
• Ensuring the functionality of all tools and systems within the area of responsibility
• Acting as an interface between committees, key users and central IT
• Identifying requirements and advising specialist departments and projects, including
• Requirement gathering
• Creating use cases
• Preparing decision-making templates
• Designing bespoke solutions tailored to requirements where necessary
• Developing usage concepts
• Development of automation processes
• Market analysis and monitoring with regard to innovative topics, as well as
• For the implementation of requirements, extensions may need to be analysed and evaluated
• Assessing new functions within the tools to determine how they can simplify user experience
• Forward-looking trends within the area of responsibility
• Identification of new functions and solutions within the tools that improve usability or meet new requirements

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

• A completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant vocational qualification with several years' professional experience
• Specialist further training in the relevant area (infrastructure/applications)
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Experience of working with specialist departments and external service providers
• Extensive professional experience in consultancy and application management or in comparable roles
• An independent and structured approach to work, an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to travel
• Good communication and teamwork skills, as well as outstanding analytical abilities
• Strong presentation skills and a confident manner
• High levels of commitment and flexibility
• Strong customer and service orientationStrong assertiveness
• The ability to work independently, take personal responsibility and focus on results, combined with active teamwork
• Quick grasp of technical issues and solution-oriented implementation

Essential: Several years' in-depth experience in the Atlassian ecosystem.

Further responsibilities:

• Advising on the selection and use of various tools, features and applications within engineering software
• Focus on Atlassian: Jira and Confluence
• Delivering training sessions and workshops for users and key users

• Independently handling support enquiries from staff, customers and the development team
• Supporting projects and specialist departments in using the applications
• Setting up structures for projects
• Working closely with internal specialist departments to identify requirements and develop solution concepts
• Participating in IT committees and relevant meetings
• Reviewing and assessing new requirements in terms of their feasibility. Developing concepts and implementing them in collaboration with the relevant department
• Implementing assigned work packages as part of IT projects within your area of responsibility, including system maintenance and operational implementation in consultation with the responsible project manager
• Assisting with the creation of process descriptions and documentation
