Project Description

Consolidation of the system landscapes of the relevant ReVUs with the EGS. As part of this initiative, the establishment of a unified roles and authorization concept for the S/4HANA systems and the Solution Managers within a shared system landscape.

Role Description

As part of a company-wide rebranding project, existing UI components and Sitefinity widgets are reviewed and further developed. The primary focus of the project is the quality assurance of the affected frontend elements to ensure compliance with the new design and brand guidelines. In addition to rebranding-related adjustments, the project includes the continuous enhancement and testing of existing UI components and Sitefinity widgets. The specific testing scope and functional enhancements vary depending on sprint planning and current business requirements.

Tester – Further Development in an Editorial Environment / Rebranding Project

(Content Management System: Sitefinity)

Time Allocation:

• An intensive onboarding phase is required
• 3 days per week (during onboarding preferably 5 days per week; workload will be reduced afterward)

Technical Responsibilities

• Testing newly developed UI kit components within the rebranding project with regard to functionality and design
• Testing integrated UI kit components within the CMS environment (Sitefinity)
• Testing developed UI kit components in mobile views and for accessibility compliance
• Performing end-to-end tests across different devices, browsers, and operating systems, and supporting error analysis (excluding source code analysis)
• Creating detailed defect reports and test documentation
• Performing regression tests
• Creating and updating test cases within a test library
• Participating in agile ceremonies
• Actively collaborating with testers from other applications within a tester community of practice, for example to coordinate cross-application regression tests
• Creating, maintaining, and validating monitoring test objects in Uptrends, including the verification of error scenarios

Skills (Know-how or Willingness to Learn)

• Experience in agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong technical affinity
• Knowledge of browser versions and related technologies
• Structured, independent, analytical, and results-oriented working style
