Position: IT Systems Engineer-Technical Manager 1

Tasks:

• Installation, configuration, and commissioning of IT systems in project and customer environments
• Participation in the automation and continuous optimization of IT systems, tools, and monitoring solutions
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of technical documentation
• Collaboration in the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the existing server and network environment
• Support in managing suppliers and subcontractors
• Support in determining the degree of progress and cash outflow in the project

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of common IT technologies such as Windows, Linux, network systems, virtualization (VMware vSphere), backup and monitoring solutions (Veeam Backup and check_mk)
• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Bash,
• PowerShell, or Python, as well as with automation solutions such as Ansible
• Technological curiosity, initiative, and sense of responsibility
• Broad basic understanding of IT and motivation to learn about and continuously develop complex IT systems and system landscapes and to continuously develop your skills
• Enjoy working in a team to achieve a common goal
• Good written and spoken English and German skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide, but with a focus on working at our location in Bremen
