Tasks:
We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer (m/f/d) for our client's Munich office.
The successful candidate (m/f/d) will be responsible for the following tasks and duties.
- Overall responsibility for commercial order processing, including
quotation preparation, order management, delivery coordination, and invoicing (including, for example, provisions, bonuses, and commissions). - Ensuring contractually defined delivery dates are met through consistent deadline monitoring, early risk identification, and structured coordination and implementation of appropriate
measures with production, functional departments, and customers. - Active monitoring, analysis, and management of sales-related KPIs, e.g., revenue, accounts receivable, inventory, and delivery performance.
- Preparation of status reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Independent management of escalation and receivables processes, including resolution of clarification cases and coordination with internal and external contacts.
- Full responsibility for the entire logistics complaint process, including
assessment, initiation, coordination, and follow-up of all necessary measures. - Assisting with the technical analysis and handling of complaints and
warranty claims. - Acquiring orders and conducting sales meetings while taking into account economic and legal conditions; assisting with technical
customer inquiries by applying in-depth product knowledge.
Requirements:

Vocational Training - Business training (minimum: vocational training)
or Technical training (minimum: vocational training)
Degree - Technical degree (minimum bachelor's program)
or Industrial engineering (minimum bachelor's program)
or Business administration (minimum bachelor's program)
IT - SAP (minimum detailed specialized knowledge)
Language skills - German (minimum business fluent)
- English (minimum business fluent)
Professional experience - Several years of professional experience in international B2B sales / inside sales,
- ideally in the industrial, automotive, or rail vehicle sector
Skills - Very good knowledge of quotation calculation, pricing, and contract drafting, taking into account economic and legal frameworks
- Experience in commercial project and order processing (quotations, orders, delivery coordination, invoicing, bonus and commission models)
- Proficiency in managing delivery schedules, risk assessment, and interface management with production, logistics, and external/internal service providers
- Experience in escalation, accounts receivable, and complaint management, ideally including warranty claims
Additional Qualifications - Basic technical understanding to assess technical customer inquiries and provide expert support for complaints
