Position: Assembly/Repair Technician (m/f/d) Level 2.1

Tasks:
- Inspection and documentation of optical-mechanical components/assemblies
- Mechanical and electrical alignment of assemblies
- Assembly of electrical test equipment
- Use of typical test and measurement equipment appropriate to the trade (e.g. electronics technician)
- Preparation of production, test and inspection reports
- Partial self-organisation of tasks (in terms of sequence, deadlines, priorities, etc.) in consultation with the team leader
- Assembly of mechanical and electrical assemblies and equipment in accordance with assembly instructions, drawings and bills of materials
- Troubleshooting of simple electronic assemblies/equipment using circuit diagrams/signal diagrams, for both new and old equipment, as well as their repair and documentation in SAP
- Commissioning and testing at device and system level, as well as carrying out interface tests in accordance with test specifications
- Recording one's own work to document results
- Processing and reporting back on production orders on time
- Reporting on and monitoring work results in terms of quantity, quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Troubleshooting electronic assemblies/devices using circuit diagrams and signal diagrams, for both new and old equipment, as well as their repair and documentation in SAP
- Ensuring the smooth running of processes and the flow of information to other departments and line managers
Requirements:
- State-certified technician or master craftsman
- Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering/electronics with comparable further training, as well as several years' professional experience in the assembly and repair of electronic assemblies
- Experience in working with technical system documentation and electrical tools
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering/electronics with several years' professional experience in the assembly/repair of electronic assemblies and relevant additional qualifications
- A high degree of diligence, precision and quality awareness
- A goal-oriented, independent and self-reliant approach to work, as well as an open-minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to travel on business, primarily within Germany
- Confident use of tools and test equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical)
- Experience with communications electronics would be desirable
