Tasks:
- Technical Leadership: Leading a project-based test team in the defense sector and managing all relevant validation activities.
- Strategy & Planning: Developing and implementing a comprehensive test strategy for our software products, as well as planning and monitoring manual and automated test activities.
- Design: Creating system and acceptance tests based on functional,
technical, and operational requirements - Quality Assurance: Ensuring the highest quality standards throughout all phases of the product development process.
- Process Optimization: Introduction and continuous optimization of modern testing methods, tools, and meaningful test metrics.
- Stakeholder Management: Close collaboration with project participants, the product lines, and the relevant development departments.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable STEM field, or technical vocational training (e.g., IT specialist).
- Networking expertise: Knowledge of IP addressing, routing, switching, as well as wired (Ethernet) and wireless communication (VHF, UHF, LTE, SatCom).
- Testing expertise: In-depth understanding of verification and validation processes, as well as experience with functional, acceptance, and performance testing.
- Methodology & Standards: Proficiency with the V-Model XT and, ideally, knowledge of ISO 29119 standards.
- Tool Knowledge: Practical experience with ALM and test management tools (e.g., Jira X-Ray, IBM Doors) as well as version control systems (Git).
- Agile Mindset: Substantial experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Personality: Analytical approach to work, strong customer focus, and the ability to communicate in a solution-oriented manner even in complex situations.
- Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English
