Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination, planning, and delivery of medium to large-scale IT infrastructure projects within a complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on managing projects from solution design through implementation and operational readiness while ensuring that project objectives are achieved with regard to scope, quality, timeline, and budget.

The position requires strong project management expertise, the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, and the capability to translate business requirements into structured IT solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects of medium to high complexity from concept development to operational deployment
• Translate customer requirements into IT processes and technical solutions and support their implementation
• Identify and manage project dependencies, changes, and risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage and coordinate project teams and external suppliers while resolving conflicting objectives and priorities
• Perform comprehensive stakeholder management across different organizational units
• Ensure structured project planning and controlling with regard to milestones, timelines, and dependencies
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with defined quality standards, budgets, and schedules
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and decision materials for stakeholders and management
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership

Required Qualifications

• University degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or a comparable discipline with an IT focus
• Proven experience in project management within IT environments
• Professional certification in project management such as IPMA Level C, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or an equivalent qualification

• Proficient use of office and collaboration tools, including:

Language Requirements

• German language proficiency at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Professional Experience

• Minimum of six years of professional experience managing medium to large IT projects
• Demonstrated experience in applying recognized project management methodologies and frameworks
• Experience in managing project teams, suppliers, and complex stakeholder environments
