Position: Software Test Engineer
Location: Gilching, Heimertingen

Tasks:
- Developing and implementing test strategies, plans, and cases for new and existing software products in a military context
- Conducting manual and automated tests to ensure software quality
- Analyzing and documenting test results and creating detailed
defect reports - Collaborating with software developers and product managers to clarify
requirements and optimize processes - Setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Ensuring that the software complies with applicable standards (e.g., functionality, security, performance, and usability)
- Participating in code reviews and continuously improving QA processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable STEM field, or comparable technical vocational training (e.g., IT specialist)
- Relevant professional experience, preferably several years, in software testing
- In-depth knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Ranorex, Jenkins, or similar
- Understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., V-Model, Agile)
- Experience with bug-tracking and version control systems (e.g., Jira, XRay, Git)
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a structured approach to work
- Strong commitment to quality
- Solution-oriented thinking and a willingness to pursue professional development
- Ability to work well in a team
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
