Position: Materials Tester – Radiographic Inspection (Artillery Plant) (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and carry out radiographic (X-ray) inspections, including result evaluation
• Safely handle explosive materials and other hazardous components during testing processes
• Interpret and assess radiographic images and collected data
• Prepare detailed inspection and radiographic test documentation
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure continuous system functionality
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics of radiographic testing procedures
• Design and configure appropriate test setups and inspection environments

Qualifications & Requirements

• Completed vocational or technical training
• Certification in radiographic testing (RT-F and/or RT-D Level 2, minimum Level 1) according to EN ISO 9712
• Practical experience with software used to operate and control X-ray inspection systems
• Familiarity with digital image processing tools is an advantage
• Solid understanding of testing and measurement techniques
• Knowledge of standards related to non-destructive testing (NDT) and radiation safety regulations
• Basic knowledge of quality assurance processes in production or assembly environments is beneficial
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a technical and mechanical focus
• Willingness to work in a shift-based (multi-shift) environment
