Account & Tax Manager

Location: I-9, Islamabad Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Working Days: Monday to Saturday Experience: 5+ Years

Salary: PKR 130,000 – 150,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow.
• Prepare and review tax returns, statements, and other tax-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FBR tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Handle income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other relevant tax matters.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant authorities when required.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions and payments.
• Prepare budgets, financial analysis, and management reports.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and tax compliance.
• Support management with financial insights and recommendations.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani taxation and FBR regulations.
• Practical experience with income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidate must be based within approximately 20–30 km of I-9, Islamabad, to ensure convenient daily commuting.

Male candidate preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• ACCA, CA, ICMA, or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.

Compensation

PKR 130,000 – 150,000/month, depending on experience and expertise.
