Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team on a part-time or consultancy basis in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight and operational expertise to support our organization's human resources needs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Address employee concerns and provide guidance on workplace issues.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Policy and Compliance:
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Kenyan labor laws.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and best practices.
  • Performance Management:
  • Implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity.
  • Conduct regular reviews and provide coaching as needed.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • HR Administration:
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR-related documentation.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration (if required).

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, SABPP) are an advantage.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a consultancy or part-time capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time/consultant role with flexible working hours. The exact schedule will be determined based on mutual agreement.
