We are seeking a "Finance Manager" for our office in Ajman.
As a Finance Manager you will be responsible to play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations within the organization. In this position you will be involved in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations. You will also be responsible to maintain an accurate financial records, coordinating audits, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Ensure compliance with financial principles, policies, and regulations.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in annual budget preparation and regular forecasting.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
- Identify cost optimization and revenue enhancement opportunities.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct profitability, cost, and financial performance analyses.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Internal Controls:
- Implement and monitor internal control procedures.
- Assist in developing and improving internal systems.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with filings.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and analyze cash flow for liquidity and stability.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to aid financial planning.
Financial Transaction Monitoring:
- Oversee financial transactions (payables, receivables, payroll).
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Team Management and Collaboration:
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy.
Additional Duties:
- Stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements.
- Adapt to additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA).
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with general ledger functions and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
