About the job Marketing and Communications Manager (UAEN)
Our client is one of the government councils in Abu Dhabi, that is looking into hiring a Marketing and Communication Manager to join their team.
The hired resource will be responsible for formulating and managing creative marketing and outreach programs, as well as creating and maintaining communication channels with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify key outreach programs and partners to engage with job seekers
- Develop marketing plans to engage stakeholders (parents, key decision makers, job seekers, currently employed Emiratis, Employers, etc.)
- Maintain relationships and lead interactions with marketing, communications, and creative agencies and service providers
- Development and Management of Outreach Programs
- Oversee outreach programs with different segments of job seekers and employed Emiratis to understand key success factors and key pain points
- Identify key employer categories (Flagship, Large, Small, and medium enterprises) and develop an engagement plan with key holding companies to drive Emiratization and integration of Emirati nationals into the workforce
- Engage with job seeker categories, key stakeholders (sector custodians) and gather insights/ inputs
- Development and Management of Marketing and Communication Initiatives
- Develop key messages/campaigns to define value propositions to increase empathy
- competitiveness
- Create campaigns to showcase Emirati talent profiles in the private sector to create role models for future applicants (across the employment pyramid, from new hires to senior management)
- Develop a communication plan (external with the key stakeholders) to engage regularly on topics related to Emiratization / job creation and Emirati hiring
Qualification & Experience:
- A minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or any other related field, preferably with a relevant postgraduate degree
- 7-12 years of experience in managing marketing and outreach activities
- Strong international or regional knowledge is desirable, especially regarding the Middle East
- Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management that has progressed to a leadership role
- Must have the proven ability to handle complex, unstructured problems in a rigorous, analytical fashion
- Significant experience of managing staff and teams.
