The Role

We're looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to support our Business Development Director in driving commercial growth across multiple product categories from FMCG to beverages and lifestyle goods.

This is a hands-on, data-driven, and strategic role that connects numbers, insights, and business decisions. You'll help analyze performance, shape pricing strategy, and turn market data into clear commercial actions.

What You'll Do

1. Commercial & Financial Analysis

Build and maintain P&L models, revenue forecasts, and business cases.

Analyze profitability by product, market, and channel.

Prepare concise management reports and financial summaries.

2. Pricing & Market Strategy

Benchmark competitor pricing and trade terms across regions.

Develop pricing recommendations and margin scenarios.

Support trade and promotion planning with data-backed analysis.

3. Forecasting & Planning

Collaborate on quarterly forecasts, sales targets, and performance tracking.

Support financial outlooks for new market entries or product launches.

4. Market Insights & Data Gathering

Research market trends, category growth, and consumer patterns.

Work with distributors and internal teams to consolidate and interpret data.

5. Business Support

Prepare presentation decks and short commercial reports for leadership.

Support investment or partnership proposals with numbers and insights.

Who You Are

4-7 years' experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or retail sectors.

Background in commercial finance, business analysis, or pricing strategy.

Confident with Excel / Google Sheets, able to run scenarios and projections.

Understands P&L, margin, and trade dynamics.

Analytical thinker with strong presentation and communication skills.

Able to connect data with real-world business context.

Comfortable working across teams in a fast-moving, cross-market environment.
