Job Overview

This position will be responsible to provide critical support on in-house legal services to the Management, Functions and Business Units throughout the company. Provide legal advice to Nasty Worldwide to promote and safeguard company's interest against diminution in financial value, image and reputation whilst considering commercial and operational considerations. Ensure compliance with various local and foreign laws, by-laws and regulations, the Companys rules and guidelines and etc.

Accountable for ensuring all logo, trademarks, and other relevant intellectual property are registered within the countries listed below. In total 83 Countries. The figures might change from time to time. Remark: Total countries 83 in the market

The task for 83 Countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, USA Continents, and the figures shall be increasing from time to time.

Job Description

  • Review and provide legal advice on MOUs, Contracts, Agreement and tender documents.
  • Review ongoing cases and advice management accordingly.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
  • Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management.
  • Review all contracts or any other documentation where the company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought for top management attention.
  • To write and review settlement documents, contracts, agreements, stock certificates and more.
  • Responsible to ensure that the relevant regulatory reporting are made in compliance with the Guidelines
  • Responsible for the provision of advice to the relevant stakeholders of the regulatory compliance and risk related matters.
  • Responsible to monitor changes and developments in the laws, regulations, and relevant guidelines.
  • Responsible for the reporting of compliance matters within the organization to the immediate superior
  • Interpret regulatory rules or rule changes and ensure that they are communicated through company policies and procedures. Recommend changes to company procedures in response to changes in regulations or standards.
  • Studying scientific and legal documents
  • Gathering, evaluating, organizing, managing and collating information in a variety of formats.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations set by the respective countries regulations, their Regulatory Agency / Body
  • Maintaining familiarity with company product ranges.
  • Planning, undertaking and overseeing product regulatory inspections (intellectual property / trademark).
  • Offering advice about company policies, practices and systems
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelors degree in law (LLB) or equivalent graduate-level qualification
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial contract review, drafting and in litigation. Experience in negotiations is advantageous
  3. Excellent writing and communication skills
  4. Strong interpersonal relations skills
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
