As we expand further into international markets such as South Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, we are seeking elite sales talent to lead and grow these territories.


Position Summary

As Sales Manager International Markets, you will be the front-runner responsible for developing and managing distribution channels, increasing sell-through, and executing market expansion strategies for assigned countries. This role requires a builder mindset, with strong business acumen, execution focus, and the ability to work across different market dynamics.

You are not just closing sales you are building territories.


Key Responsibilities

Market Ownership

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned international territories

  • Identify high-potential markets and key cities for focused sales penetration

  • Conduct market research to understand regulatory landscape, competitor movement, and pricing benchmarks

Partner & Channel Development

  • Acquire, onboard, and manage regional distributors, wholesalers, and key retailers
  • Negotiate trade terms, pricing models, and sales targets

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with partners to ensure market growth and loyalty

Sales Execution & Forecasting

  • Drive Sell-In, Sell-Thru, and Sell-Out and monitor product movement at every level

  • Analyze sales reports, forecast reorders, and manage inventory turnover

  • Ensure sales performance aligns with company targets and reporting standards

Market Activation

  • Coordinate with marketing and trade teams to roll out campaigns, sampling, POSM, and visibility programs

  • Ensure consistent execution across markets to support brand presence and velocity

  • Gather market feedback and provide insights to product, marketing, and R&D teams


Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports

  • Collaborate with internal departments: supply chain, finance, marketing, legal

  • Travel occasionally to assigned countries for partner meetings and activations


Ideal Candidate Profile


Requirement

Background

FMCG, tobacco, supplement, or high-compliance consumer products

Experience

48 years in international or export sales, preferably managing South Africa, MENA, or Asia

Skillset

Deep understanding of distributor/channel sales, margin structures, RTM strategies

Mindset

Business-builder, not just a salesperson; KPI-driven, resilient, and strategic

Language

Fluent in English; bonus if you speak Arabic, French, or other relevant market languages

Mobility

Willing to travel regionally for market development and partner engagement
