We're in a phase of exponential growth and were seeking our Sr. Procurement and Controlling Specialist.

What will your mission be?

As a Sr. Procurement and Controlling Specialist at our organization, your mission revolves around supporting corporate purchasing, supply chain, and Nasekomo procurement governance while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting processes.

What Awaits You in:

Procurement

• Perform market screening for purchasing equipment and services for our projects and assets.
• Lead tendering processes to purchase equipment and services for our projects and assets.
• Perform financial analysis and business case justification for proposals for approval by the senior leadership.
• Drive contract negotiations with external partners.
• Support internal review of contracts with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
• Create written proposals for priority opportunities, and drive procurement agreements to contract execution.
• Support in the search and evaluation of new suppliers.
• Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the internal supplier evaluation incl. procedures, and area coordination.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships to drive lowest total cost, optimal commercial- and payment terms and thus to achieve maximum value.

Controlling

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, ensuring accuracy through data control, review, and analysis.
• Assist the CFO in controlling revenues, costs and variance analysis, along with interactions with operating and R&D teams.
• Prepare standard and ad hoc management reports and analyze financial metrics to provide insights for actuals, forecasts, and budgets. Prepare variance analysis reports and suggest measures and actions to Management.
• Participate in the development and improvement of the management reporting package, automation, and speeding up of information flows.
• Be part of setting up new processes, implementing new tools, or improving the status quo. Propose and create new reports for management purposes.
• Be able to liaise between different stakeholders like accounting, sales, R&D, marketing, and other external partners.
• Participate in forecasting and the annual budgeting process.

Are You the One We're Searching For?

• A degree in Controlling, FP&A, Finance, or Accounting; Masters/MBA preferred.
• 5+ relevant experience in procurement, incl. market analysis, portfolio- and vendor management.
• 3+ relevant experience in Controlling and Reporting, with creating reports through VBA, SQL and DAX being considered as an advantage.
• Track record with asset leasing is a plus.
• Fluency in English, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset, resilience in the face of challenges, and a curiosity to explore and understand complex processes.
