We're in a phase of exponential growth and we're seeking our Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

What will your mission be?

As the CFO of Nasekomo, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the company through its rapid growth phase. You will be responsible for developing and executing financial strategies, managing risk, and ensuring financial stability, while supporting the company's overall strategic objectives, particularly focusing on sustainability and fundraising efforts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing strategic insights to optimize resource allocation and achieve our ambitious goals.

What Awaits You Each Day?

       Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of the organizations financial strategy.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and business model improvements.
  • Advise the Board of Directors and executive team on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and policy matters.

        Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

        Financial Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulations.
  • Prepare financial reports for investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.

        Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital from equity investors, venture capitalists, and other funding sources.
  • Manage relationships with current and potential investors, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
  • Lead due diligence processes and negotiations with potential investors, lenders, and other financial partners.

        Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Optimize the companys capital structure, managing cash flow, liquidity, and financial resources.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including debt management, banking relationships, and investment activities.

        Compliance & Risk Management

  • Identify and assess financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, and oversee internal audits and controls.

        Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation in financial processes and technology.
  • Support the development and training of finance team members.

        Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate financial performance, strategic goals, and key business issues to the Board, executive team, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key spokesperson for the organizations financial position and strategic direction.

Are You the One Were Searching For?

        Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.

       Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of financial leadership experience, including experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role. Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and capital markets.

       Skills:

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in M&A due diligence and corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
