We are on a look out for dynamic and forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer to lead the technology vision and strategy of Nasekomo. The CTO will play a crucial role in driving innovation, overseeing process design and product development as well as expanding the technology infrastructure to support our growing franchise network. CTO will navigate strategic partnerships and will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assure seamless integration of new technologies following industry standards for automation and digitalization, optimizing efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Leadership

· Develop and implement the companys technology vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals

· Lead the innovation and development of new technologies to support product development, operational improvements, and production scalability.

· Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive and at the forefront of technological advancement.

· Serve as a key technology advisor to the executive leadership team, identifying opportunities for technology-driven growth and efficiency improvements.

Expanding Global Franchise network

· Lead the technology expansion efforts to support the scaling of the companys global franchise network, focusing on process automation, IoT solutions, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

· Assure synergy between industrial technology and cutting-edge technologies such as AI, robotics, and smart manufacturing systems into the global network

· Collaborate on the digital transformation, ensuring seamless integration of data management systems, and cloud-based technologies to support remote monitoring, data analytics, and predictive maintenance.

· Manage the deployment of advanced manufacturing systems at new and existing plants, ensuring technology infrastructure is in place to support production growth and efficiency.

Process and Product Development & Innovation

· Oversee the research and development of new processes and products, ensuring the successful translation of technology innovations into scalable, market-ready products.

· Drive the development of prototyping and testing processes to validate new technologies and ensure feasibility for large-scale production.

Team Leadership & Development

· Build and mentor a world-class technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

· Ensure that the technology team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to support the companys growth and expansion goals.

· Promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment within the technology team.

Requirements:

• High education degree in Industrial/Automation/Mechanical/Processing Engineering or equivalent, MSc is preferable.
• At least 15 years of increasingly responsible, professional experience in the study, design, construction, and administration of industrial plants, processes, and equipment, with at least 5 years in leading or supervising teams. Experience in feed/food/biotech industry is an asset.
• Proven experience in scaling production networks or leading large-scale technology implementations across multiple facilities.
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies such IoT, automation, and smart manufacturing systems.
• Ability to successfully manage clients and projects collaboratively and interface with all Nasekomo team members.
• Previous business development experience (writing winning proposals and successfully pursuing work).
• Understanding of multi-discipline aspects of infrastructure and industrial designs.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Ability to focus on client needs while balancing multiple priorities including project management, design, bidding, and management of construction and implementation services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents.
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Fluent in English.
