Senior Project MAnager

Our client is a leading consulting firm in the field of project management, providing innovative solutions and services to clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress. You will also be responsible for identifying and managing project risks, issues, and changes, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, preferably in a consulting environment. You should possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals. You must also have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, and the ability to adapt and apply them to different project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Marketing, business development, lead finding and pursuit of new
  work. MUST HAVE A BOOK OF BUSINESS TO BRING ALONG 
• Develop project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
• Identify design criteria plus plan and execute effective designs
  focused on exceeding client expectations. 
• Motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals
•  Ensure effective collaboration and communication across all project stakeholders
• Use project management methodologies and tools to effectively manage projects
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management
• Mentor and coach junior project managers and project team members
• Continuously improve project management processes and procedures to optimize project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline
• 10+ years of Civil Design experience
• , Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a consulting environment
• PMP certification is highly desired
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior project managers and project team members.
